(I personally doubt anyone's reading this, but you never know... ^-^')
So today I realized I only have 4 months left in the US! I am probably leaving on the 6th of July. I'm really excited to go home, but I will miss my host family and my school and friends a lot. I'm thinking about coming back to America for college when I'm done with high school at home. I have 3 more years (back to the 11th grade and then up to the 13th) when I come back, so I have plenty of time to think. >_> but yeah I really want to. American Universities look so much fun
There's still a lot of things to do in these 4 months. Like... prom! I'm so excited! I think it won't be that awesome (the HS i attend here is just.. different) but I'm sure it will be so much fun. I'm not sure, but I heard it will be on the day of my Birthday (May 8th - I'm turning 17 :3)! That would be.. awesome. (Okay, enough of that word ^-^'). Another thing is that it looks like we will fly to Atlanta, GA in April. My family is so nice, they take me and Lucia (the other exchange student) to all these cool places (like New York in December and New England during the Fall Break). I was actually thinking about changing my family, like in November, because I just didn't get along with Bethany. I'm so so glad everything worked out and we're like best friends now. :3 I love my host family so much.
I haven't written anything about them, right? I feel like writing a lot today, sooo~
Me: Kat
The other exchange student: Lucia (from Uruguay)
My host mom: Debbie
My host dad: Barry
They have 6 kids! We only live with one of them though.
Host sister 1: Bethany - lives in the room next to mine
Host sister 2: Maggie (she lives in Indianapolis so we see her a lot. She is the funniest and the loudest person I know. She has a son - Jack, 5. He's the cutest.)
Host sister 3: Courtney - lives in Chicago
Host sister 4: Anne - lives in Wisconsin
Host brother 1: Tyler - lives in New Jersey
Host brother 2: Gram - lives in Colorado
I love them all so much. <3
Last weekend my family and I wen to our cabin in Brown County to make maple syrup! It was awesome, I've never done it before. We arrived on Friday and stayed until Monday (no school, yay!). Unfortunately it was really cold, so we couldn't start until Sunday and my sisters and I didn't get to see the end. And they only made about half a gallon of syrup.
I started reading this manga called Hana-Kimi and it's just the cutest manga ever. Izumi Sano is just soooo sexy :3 uhm. I wonder why do I have such a bad luck with boys. Oh well. -_-;
I edited a lot of my older photos in Photoshop (finally) so they look a lot better (to me). I also deleted a lot of pictures. I don't really take any pictures now, I just don't like the weather - it's really cold, the snow is gone and there's just yellow grass everywhere. I can't wait till Spring finally comes.
This journal is a little~ okay a lot longer than the other ones, I just felt like writing a lot. Sorry ^^' Hope you all have a nice weekend. :3 *still hoping someone will read this*
Kat~
